Anna Curran is a comedy screenwriter for film and television. Originally from New York, Anna has lived in Los Angeles and now makes her home in Ubud, Bali. She writes high-concept, character-driven stories about identity, power, family, and personal liberation.
Her television pilot TUDORIFIC was recognized by the Austin Film Festival, and she studied improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
She is also a serial entrepreneur who has founded businesses in political consulting, jewelry, cookbook publishing, and immersive experience. Her nationally recognized cookbook-publishing platform was featured in The New York Times and on Katie; today, Beyond Retreats creates immersive experiences around self-knowledge, creativity, embodiment, courage, and meaningful encounter. That history gives her firsthand knowledge of ambition, institutions, risk, leadership, and turning an imagined possibility into something real.
